GREEN LIVING SHOW HEALTH & SAFETY – COVID-19
(March 12, 2020 – TORONTO) With the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, and Health Canada’s recommendation to avoid gatherings of more than 1,000 people, the decision has been made to cancel this year's Green Living Show, scheduled for March 13-15 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
While we are disappointed, the safety and wellbeing of the public, the staff, our vendors and exhibitors is paramount. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank everyone for their support of our event.
Thank you, and we hope to see everyone at next year’s event.
How do I get a refund on my tickets?
We will be automatically processing ticket refunds in the next 5-10 business days. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Why did you wait so long to cancel?
Information about COVID-19 is rapidly evolving. We have been watching the developments closely for many weeks and until today we felt there was no need to cancel the event. However, given the latest developments, including Health Canada’s recommendation to avoid gathering of more than 1,000 people, and the cancellation of many high-profile events across Toronto and the country, we decided to cancel the event. The safety and wellbeing of the public, the staff, our vendors and exhibitors is paramount, as is the need to mitigate the spread of the virus.
If Toronto Public Health has not recommended cancelling the event, why are you?
The safety and wellbeing of the public, the staff, our vendors and exhibitors is paramount, and we believe cancelling the event was the right thing to do to help mitigate the potential spread of the virus. We are following Health Canada’s recommendations, which is to avoid gatherings of more than 1,000 people.
Is the event being cancelled or postponed? When will the event be rescheduled?
The event has been cancelled. We hope to see everyone at next year’s event, bigger and better than ever.
