Every Tree Counts

The goal of Every Tree Counts is to plant 3.8 million trees in Toronto over 10 years.

To achieve 40 per cent tree cover for our city, we need to work together. We count on the City of Toronto, Urban Forestry to plant over 100,000 trees annually on public land. That is not enough. The greatest availability of land to plant trees is on private property. That’s why your participation is critical to achieving Toronto’s tree canopy goals.

Two ways to help:

  1. Plant a new tree, map it and add it to the tally at citytrees.ca, the official tree counter of the Every Tree Counts campaign.
  2. Donate to Every Tree Counts at tptf.ca to help plant more trees in Toronto, and track the impact of your contribution at citytrees.ca.
