Last year, the Kia Soul EV was the big winner of the Canadian Green Car Award.
A panel of top Canadian automotive journalists selected the Kia Soul EV from among six category winners as the vehicle that best combines environmental benefits and mass-market appeal.
The Award, now in its third year, is Canada’s premier competition for “green” vehicles. It recognizes both environmental benefits and mass-market appeal, since vehicles need to sell in large numbers to have significant impacts. Ford’s Fusion Hybrid won the 2013 Canadian Green Car Award, followed in 2014 by the Honda Accord Hybrid.
